Hmm, having Eskom cut off your electricity for a whole day to do 'maintenance' and then switch it back on in the middle of a lightning storm isn't too good for electrical goodies.
I lost two energy-saver bulbs and a VCR. Mercifully both PCs and my new wireless ADSL router survived - probably due to the fact that I still don't have a phone line to plug it in to. Lucky me.
